BHARAT NATYAM
Being over 5000 years old, Bharat Natyam is the most original dance form of India. This classical dance form originated from the state of Tamil Nadu. Bharatanatyam, as the name depicts is the combination of: BHA- Bhava (Expression), RA- Raga (Music) and TA- Tala (Rhythm).
Guru Bina Master believes that you learn your basics from Bharat Natyam. You can easily pick up any other form of dance from India or any other part of the world once you learn this most elegant and original dance form!
BOLLYWOOD/FUSION
At NrityaKala students are kept up-to-date with the latest and greatest Bollywood performances. They learn a variety of innovative dance steps on Bollywood music.
Students get an opportunity to showcase their talent during our annual recitals as well as various different events held throughout New Jersey!
This class will have you on your feet in no time. Many of our dancers love taking this class, as it gives them the opportunity to learn new movements and easily showcase their talent.
FOLK
Music and dance have been integral part of India’s cultural heritage. Many different forms of folk dances exist including Bhangra, Garba, Rajasthani Folk, and Lavani just to name a few.
At NrityaKala, students learn many different types of Indian folk dances and get to perform in different dance events throughout NJ.
